Nature in Art – pretty child unfriendly, but gardens are beautiful, and our kids enjoyed visiting the exhibitions and gardens, even though they were followed by unfriendly eyes everywhere! We visited during the heritage open days, so had free entry.  They do children’s art sessions during the school holidays.

Gloucestershire Resource Centre – an excellent place to stock up on art and craft materials for a small outlay.  You need to purchase membership, and can then visit regularly to top up your craft cupboard
