About Us
I first started this blog as a way of recording our journey into Home Education after withdrawing our eldest daughter from the reception year at school in December 2008. I began by blogging daily, but have lost my way recently!
If you have no idea what Home Education is, I can recommend Googling it, as there are some really good sites out there, loads more than when I first started looking. If you have young children, I can recommend joining the Early Years Home Education yahoo group, and taking a look at the accompanying Muddle Puddle site. Also reading other Home Education blogs gives a huge insight into the huge array of Home Education families, education philosophies and styles from which to draw information and ideas. A good start is the Early Years Blog Ring
At the moment, we are choosing to educate autonomously, and take each day as it comes, exploring the world around us, learning what we can as we go.
We are based in Gloucestershire, and our family comprises: me, full-time Mum; my hard-working hubby, B; our two daughters E (aged 8yrs) and H (6yrs); and our baby boy L (3yrs).
